DYGRA FILMS - Espagne - 1987



Maison de production fondée en 1987, spécialisée en animation CGI,
dont l'objectif est la reconnaissance internationale de la Galice dans
le domaine de la production audiovisuelle d'animation en tout gerne.

Le studio d'animation espagnol Dygra fut fondé par Manolo Gómez
et s'est en 1997 qu'est née l'idée de produire un film d'animation,
un longmétrage avec les mêmes valeurs de production qu'un Disney.
Pour cela, Dygra s'est tourné vers Maya, le logiciel d'animation.

nWAVE DIGITAL - Belgique - 1993

Created in 1993, nWave Digital, the production arm of nWave Pictures is a state-of-the-art digital studio based in Brussels, Belgium. nWave creates fully digital 3D animated stereoscopic feature films, 2D/3D large format films, and has a library of over 40 3D/4D theme park attractions and other special venue films playing in 35 countries.

nWave's first stereoscopic feature film, Fly Me to the Moon, released in 2008, was the first digital 3D movie designed and created in stereo from the start. To date, over 6 million people have seen Fly Me to the Moon in theaters worldwide.

Sammy's Adventures: The Secret Passage, the company's second stereoscopic feature, was released worldwide in 2010 and the compnay is now in production of the sequel scheduled for release in 2012.

Located in downtown Brussels, the studio's 2000 square meters are home to +/-100 digital artists, developers, production and support people. nWave's customized networked environment, made up of Dell workstations and a render farm running Maya, Mudbox, Zbrush, Digital Fusion, Nuke, 3Delight, proprietary asset and production managers and a variety of plug-ins, is supported by over 20 terabytes of storage space and managed by an IBRIX distributed file system.
